The Canary Business Line – Vergerio Mangimi S.r.l

Our Canary factory extends over 16,000 square meters, of which about 5,000 are sheltered. In addition to its racked warehouses and five-storey feed processing tower, the Canary factory has silos for the storage of raw materials and finished products with a total capacity of over 30,000 quintals.

Our commercial organisation and administrative management are our pride and joy. We strive to satisfy our customers with the same commitment and seriousness with which we follow our production.

 

WAREHOUSES

Modern machinery and motivated and helpful staff are behind the ability of VERGERIO MANGIMI S.r.l. to serve its customers impeccably. Our products meet any need in the field of animal feeding.

 

OUR LABORATORY

To ensure the highest quality level and an even formulation of our products for the benefit our end consumers, we test all the ingredients we use. To that end, we have set up an internal chemical laboratory for quality control, where ingredients (raw materials) and finished products undergo specific tests. We have also contracted external test labs for more accurate tests.

 

PRODUCT TESTING

Based on our longstanding experience in the bird feed sector, we have established important partnerships with the best breeders and experts in the industry.

Their support is behind the success of our nutritional specialities, which result from the combination of theoretical know-how and the practical experience of experienced ornithophiles.

For the development of each new idea, we follow a rigorous process that includes:

  • laboratory tests for the ‘testing and trial’ part;
  • practical testing at our pilot farms;
  • comparison between test animals and control groups.

TECHNICAL ADVICE

We also have an internal technical support and advisory team providing the following services to our customers:

  • Training sessions and exchange of experiences with breeders.
  • Participation in trade fairs.
  • Development of new feed proposals.
  • Solving breeding problems directly at the customer’s site.
  • Educational guided tours for our customers at our pilot farms.
